LG Chem develops flexible cable batteries, lets you use it as shoelaces

Flexible batteries are nothing new, but shoelace batteries are. LG Chem has developed a battery that fits around a copper cable, providing you with flexibility and another way to tie your shoes. They have tested the batteries on a red LED screen (as you can see above), and on a fourth-generation iPod Shuffle. This is another step forward in bring you a flexible smartphone, not that you need one anyways.

This new IPS screen idea will feature a WQHD resolution (2,560 x 1,080 pixels) and support a four-way split-screen view. In addition, it also contains an HDMI and USB 3.0 port. Finally, you’ll probably need rethink what you’ll be buying the next time you need a new monitor.

LG Optimus G revealed with a 1.5GHz quad-core CPU, LTE, and a 13 MP camera

LG was teasing this phone’s release months ago, making us all start to drool about the amazing phone that will be released. Well, now it’s here, in black and white (and red of course). The specs on this phone just wants you to throw out your iPhone against the wall and run out to pre-order this baby. The LG Optimus G‘s specs are as following: 1.5GHz quad-core CPU, 2GB RAM, LTE, 13 MP camera back-camera, 1.5 MP front-camera, and a True HD (1280 x 768) IPS LCD measuring up to 4.7inch. Running this baby up is a  2,100mAh battery. With everything squeezed together to form this amazing smartphone, it ends up being only 8mm thick. Finally, to add the cherry on top, while the screen is turned off, the color of the screen will match its body’s color.

Gartner: Worldwide mobile sales takes a hit by 2.3 percent, as people wait for the new iPhone

More and more hype is formed around the new iPhone as more leaks are found. Worldwide mobile sales on the other hand, unlike the iPhone specs, has evidence that people actually care as much as you do. Gartner a technological research company has released some expected statistics about worldwide mobile sales. Although, the 2.3 percent drop in mobile sales cannot all be credited towards the anticipated new iPhone, as other major phone companies are releasing some flagships in the early fall. Finally, no matter what you choose, iPhone, Samsung Galaxy Note 2, Windows Phone 8, ..etc. your purchase will always be tried to be predicted, today or in the future.
