Communicating with aliens might seem far off in the future, but sending an audio signal from Mars and back is one step in the right direction. Interplanetary communication has made history, as the first human voice has traveled through space and received on another planet. We have to thank Curiosity (NASA’s rover on Mars), for being able to receive Charles Bolden’s human voice and send it back to us, as voicemail. Sending a rover to Mars is pretty cool, but its not worth it if you can’t see what the robot sees. Therefore, NASA has extracted a panorama view of the Gale crater from Mars. Do you think updating your phone over a cellar network complicated? Its nothing compared to what NASA has done. They have decided that Curiosity’s brain (Operating System) wasn’t good enough, so they sent an update all the way to Mars. The update switches Curiosity’s brain into exploration mode from launch mode.Maybe these are the first steps in updating your phone on another planet. Who knows? The world is crazy.

Scientist at UCLA have discovered that Mars, like Earth, is made up of Tectonic Plates. In other words, this means that Mars also experiences earthquakes. For this reason, it brings us one step closer in verifying if Mars ever contained life, as the more evidence that suggest that Mars is like Earth, the higher the chances are. Let’s give a thanks to An Yin, who analyzed over a hundred images to conclude this evidence.
NASA has successfully landed the mars rover and has produced some first images. These images are only thumb pictures as it takes over 14 minutes to travel to earth. Soon the whole world will be witnessing a miraculous event. At 1:30 AM (EST) and 9:18 PM the rover will touch down on Mars while making history. You do not want to miss this.
