Looking into the future has all been a hard game for stock analysts, politicians, and ordinary people. However, Airbus claims it has had a peak into the future, with blue skies in ‘2050’ on our horizons. They have imagined that planes will become more fuel efficient and smaller. These ‘2050’ planes will fly in groups like birds creating a more efficient travel from point A to B. Furthermore, they have competitors such as NASA already try to shape our future. The Nokia Lumia 920 is not the only phone released today at Nokia’s press conference, including the Nokia Lumia 820. You’ve probably been wondering what the difference is between the 100 digits upgrade, well here are the specs of a non-budget friendly smartphone unlikely the former: dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 CPU, WXGA (1,280 x 768) 4.5-inch PureMotion HD+ display, 2,000mAh battery, and a 8 MP back-camera. This smartphone will be Nokia‘s flagship phone for the meanwhile, in of course a color variety and LTE/ HSPA+ variants.
We have been waiting for this moment a long time, a Windows Phone 8 handset has been released for the first time. The Nokia Lumia 820 is a budget-friendly phone that was released today at a Nokia press conference. The Nokia phone specs are as following: 1.5Ghz dual-core Snapdragon S4, 1GB RAM, 4.3-inch 800 x 480 ClearBlack OLED display, 8 MP back-camera, VGA front- camera, and 8GB of on-board storage. And if that doesn’t suit your taste it comes in red, yellow, grey, cyan, purple, white and black, with LTE and HSPA+ separate models.
For some people who weren’t born in the internet age, and still remember writing on paper, have finally found their ultimate keyboard. With Smartype, you won’t have to constantly go back and forth from your keyboard and screen to see what you typed. The whole idea behind the keyboard is to snap a mini screen on, that lets you see what your typing, while typing. Smartype is still only sold in Israel, but it will be released abroad shortly.
Do you sometimes question your doctor’s diagnosis of something he claims you have? Well soon you won’t have to, never mind if this problem occurs on Earth or Mars, because with NASA’s new invention, you can take your own mini lab, wherever your dare to imagine. This mini lab called INO Microflow will test patients for all types of diseases, including cancer and HIV. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to buy one yourself just yet. But at least you’ll know that it will be safe in space, as Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield will test it during a six-month ISS mission space mission.
Companies from their creation dates to their termination dates, usually change their logos throughout the whole journey. With this in mind Microsoft, has decided to revamp its logo, making it what they view “hip” and cool. This will be their 5th logo in the making. As this logo is accompanying Windows 8, it will of course feature some relevance to the Windows 8 logo, with a four squares idea. Which logo do you think Microsoft’s finest is? All these new phones are being released and reinvented over and over again. But what do most people want? A decent and quality camera on their phone…, up till now there wasn’t a great solution out there. However, with the new Nikon Coolpix S01, which was released today, has reinvented the way people take pictures. So instead of having a big chunky camera, or a horrible camera phone, you can have a Nikon Coolpix S01 which is fits easily and snugly in your pocket at 17 mm thick and 77 mm wide. Although smaller than your phone your able to take 10MP shots with 3x optical zoom. Plus you can also take HD video at 720p. August 29th is moving closer to us, and so is the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Samsung is already releasing the Galaxy Note 2 at IFA 2012, less then a year from its predecessor release, the Galaxy Note. From time and time again, solutions for being able to last on your couch longer without getting up have been invented, and reinvented. This one lets you easily control your light bulb from any Bluetooth 4.0 device, from up to 50 meters away while conserving energy. You can also change the lighting color to any one of the RGB colors and dim it, of course. As well as, being a great idea, it’s an easy installation too. All you have to do is insert it to your electricity source like any regular light bulb and take out your smartphone. If you want to buy it, you’ll have to wait a bit as it’s only a prototype. We’ve all heard of the Google autonomous car, and how cool it sounds reading while driving to work. But how about flying a plane without having to even get a licence? Well i’ll be honest with you, this might be at least a decade from now, but at least were heading in the right direction. Thanks to the folks at MIT, they have built a small UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) that can fly without someone controlling it on the ground. Hows that you ask? Well by snapping a small notebook processor and a laser will do the trick. This small UAV is capable of making small sharp turns in the flint of the second, while maintaining its course.
